Wouldn’t you like to know! This select group of better name brand manufacturers won’t allow us to use their real names. These manufacturers sometimes require their label to be removed, cut or blacked out from select clothing items, bolded text in each item’s product description will tell you if this is the case. This in no way means they are defective or inferior in quality. As always, we’re proud to offer these brand name products to you at discount prices.

Absolutely! You may call us on our toll-free line at 1-866-543-3325 ext 1. Our customer service hours are Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm EST.

How can I change or cancel an order?[back to top]
If you have placed an order and would like to cancel or change it, please email info@kidsurplus.com or call toll-free 1-866-543-3325 ext. 1 as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate your request. Please note that our system is designed to fill orders as quickly as possible. As a result, we cannot cancel or change an order once it has entered the shipping process. If we are unable to stop your order you may return the order once you have received it and follow our return procedure.

When will out of stock items come back in?[back to top]
We work hard to re-stock all of our re-orderable products in a timely fashion, and will re-activate them as soon as possible. If an estimated arrival date is not otherwise noted on the item detail page we will still get the item back in stock, we just do not have an estimated date of arrival. Please note that not all of our products are re-orderable and once they’re gone, they’re gone! Please contact our customer service department if you have further questions.

Can I backorder out of stock items?[back to top]
If an item says it is out of stock and has an estimated arrival date you can choose to order this item. Once placed in your cart you will be notified that the item is on backorder and the item(s) will ship automatically once they have been received into our warehouse. If there is not an estimated date of arrival on the item detail page you may still backorder this item, however we do not have an estimated arrival. Please note certain products are unable to go on backorder because we are not able to reorder them.

Please Note: We are unable to ship backorders to Hawaii, Alaska, U.S. Territories, Canada, or other International destinations. Any items that appear as a backorder will be cancelled.

Do you special order items that are not listed on the Kidsurplus.com Web site?[back to top]
If you are interested in ordering a large quantity of a particular item that we do not carry within our existing inventory, please contact our customer service department for more information.

Can I ship to multiple recipients with one order?[back to top]
The KidSurplus shopping cart has the ability for you to take care of all your personal shopping or gift giving in a single checkout. Use our multiple ship-to capability to send items to different recipients, whether you're sending the same item to everybody or different items to each address. Please note that each recipient will be subject to a separate shipping charge based on our standard rates.

We are happy to include a gift message with your order. Please insert your special message in the space provided on the shipping information page of checkout.

My order is a gift. Will you include an order receipt in the box?[back to top]
A packing slip will be included in the order, but this slip does not show the pricing. Your receipt including pricing can be printed from the order confirmation page. You will also receive an email confirmation once your order has been submitted with a recap of your order. If you create an account you may also view your orders at any time.

PAYMENT

What types of payment do you accept?[back to top]
US & Canadian Orders: We accept payment via US & Canadian bank-issued Visa, Mastercard, Discover, Optima, and American Express cards. We also accept payment via PayPal, Check/Money Order and Wire Transfer. Please see our payment options page for more details.
International Orders: We do not accept International Credit Cards unless they can be verified by AVS (Address Verification Service). In some instances International American Express cards will provide AVS, in these cases we will accept this form of payment. Since most International Credit Cards do not provide AVS, alternate payment methods can be made via Bank Check/Money Order or Wire Transfer. We also accept PayPal for orders from the United Kingdom for up to $250.00 USD. Please see our payment options page for more details

Why can’t you accept my International credit card?[back to top]
We are unable to accept most International Credit Cards at this time because it is extremely difficult to verify international addresses. Unlike domestic cards that verify the owner’s name and address with a central database, many international cards do not provide this service. We hope in the near future that being able to verify these credit cards will become easier and more reliable. In the meantime, however, these safeguards enable us to do global business while minimizing risk of Internet fraud.

Why do you need to wait 15 business days to ship my order if I pay by Check or Money Order?[back to top]
We require a standard waiting period of 15 business days from the date on which a Check or Money Order is received to ensure full payment processing. While many online retailers only accept payment via Credit Card, at Kidsurplus.com we are happy to accept checks or money orders as long as we retain essential safeguards against fraud.

Do I have to pay sales tax?[back to top]
Orders shipping outside of Vermont: You will not have to pay sales tax if your order is shipping outside of the state of Vermont.
Orders shipping to a Vermont address: Orders shipping to a Vermont address will be subject to state sales tax on items designated as taxable by the State of Vermont. Vermont state sales tax is 6%.
Shipping charges: If your order is shipping to a Vermont address and you have taxable items on your order your shipping charges are subject to a 6% Vermont state sales tax.
Burlington, Manchester, Stratton, and Williston, Vermont addresses: All orders shipping to Burlington, Manchester, Stratton or Williston, VT, or picked up at our physical store location at 290 Boyer Circle, Williston, VT, will be subject to both a Vermont state sales tax of 6% and a local options tax of 1% on taxable items.

SHIPPING

When will you ship out my order?[back to top]

We are currently shipping ground orders within 2-3 business days from receipt of your order.

We ship FedEx Express orders (2nd Day and Next Day Air) the same day your order is placed if received before 2:00 EST, Monday - Friday.

If you choose to make your payment via PayPal your order will ship when we receive confirmation from PayPal of your payment. If you choose to make your payment via Check/Money Order or Wire Transfer your order will ship when payment is received and has cleared our bank processing (15 business days). Please see our payment options page for more information.

If you are shipping to an International address we cannot ship your order until we receive payment for your order total and shipping charges.

How can I track my shipment?[back to top]
If your order was shipped with FedEx, you will receive a ship confirmation email once your order has shipped from our warehouse. This email will contain your FedEx tracking number. If your order was shipped with USPS you will receive an email with your delivery confirmation number. This number provides the ship date as well as a delivery date once delivered but does not provide an estimated date of arrival or tracking information.

FedEx Ground: Orders large and small will be charged one low flat rate fee of just $7.95 for each ground shipment within the 48 contiguous United States.
P.O. Boxes: Orders large and small will be charged one low flat rate fee of just $7.95 for each ground shipment within the 48 contiguous United States.
APO/FPO (Military): Orders large and small will be charged one low flat rate fee of just $7.95.
Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico and U.S. Territories: We will email you the next business day a shipping rate based on weight and destination for your approval prior to shipping.
Canada: We will email you the next business day with a shipping rate based on weight and destination. Orders are subject to GST, PST and brokerage fees.
International: We will email you the next business day a shipping rate. Rates are based on weight, dimensions, and destination.
Store Pick Up: 290 Boyer Circle, Williston, Vermont - No Shipping Charge.

Express Shipping Rates:
FedEx 2nd Day Air:Your shipping rate will display on the Review & Payment page based on weight and destination.
FedEx Next Day Air:Your shipping rate will display on the Review & Payment page based on weight and destination.

Multiple Shipping Addresses: If you have placed one order but choose to split the items and ship to multiple addresses the flat rate shipping fee applies to each shipping address.

Does FedEx deliver on weekends?[back to top]
Packages that are shipping with FedEx Ground are delivered Tuesday through Saturday.FedEx Express shipments are delivered Monday through Friday.
Express Saturday delivery is available in select areas for an additional $12.50 surcharge. Please contact our customer service department for more information.

I ordered a product with Free Ground Shipping, but I am still being charged at checkout. Why?[back to top]
When you have multiple items in your cart, only items designated with free ground shipping ship for free. For example, if you ordered product A with free shipping, but then added X other items, you will still be charged the flat rate shipping charge for those X other items.

Can I Express ship an item that has Free Ground Shipping?[back to top]
You can ship Free Ground Shipping items 2nd Day and Next Day Air and pay the actual shipping rates based on weight and destination. Your shipping rate will display on the Review & Payment page.

How do you calculate International shipping rates?[back to top]
Our international rates are quoted directly from FedEx and USPS standard fees. We do not charge any additional handling fees.

I am shipping to an International address, when will you contact me?[back to top]
We will email you the next business day after receipt of your order with additional shipping information.

Will I be charged shipping duties on my International order?[back to top]
Canadian Orders: Are subject to GST, PST and brokerage fees. You will be emailed the total rate for your approval prior to shipping.
International Orders: Your local customs office may bill you directly with additional duties or taxes on your order. We encourage you to contact them for more information.

I think my shipment was lost. What do I do?[back to top]
If you did not receive your shipment, we can help. Please contact our customer service department with your order number so we may assist you in tracking your package.

RETURNS

How can I return something? [back to top]
Absolutely, if you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return your merchandise in “new and unused“ condition within 30 days of receipt for a refund less shipping charges, shipping surcharges, and any coupons or promotions used. Refunds will be issued to the original credit card or other payment method used for the order (check, Paypal, or wire transfer). If your purchase was paid for with a gift certificate you will be issued a store credit. Please see our Returns & Exchanges policy for complete guidelines and procedures.

What if I received a damaged item? [back to top]
If you received a damaged, item, we can help. Please contact our customer service department via email or phone for assistance and we will do our best to correct the problem. Be sure to have your order number on hand.

How can I return breastfeeding items? [back to top]
Only breast feeding supplies that are unopened and in factory sealed condition may be returned to KidSurplus.com. If you received a defective breast feeding item, or if you want to return opened merchandise, then you must contact the manufacturer directly for assistance. Can I return something for an exchange? [back to top]
The fastest way to exchange items is to place a new order and process your return separately. We do not cover return shipping costs. If you wish to exchange something, please follow the instructions on our Return Policy page. Then, visit www.kidsurplus.com and place a new order for the replacement item(s)! Please also note that shipping charges will be added to your new order.
