Returns & Exchanges

KidSurplus wants you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Please see below for information about returns, damaged or defective items, and exchanges.

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return your merchandise in “new and unused” condition within 30 days of receipt for a refund less shipping charges, shipping surcharges, and any coupons or promotions used. Refunds will be issued to the original credit card or other payment method used for the order (check, PayPal, or wire transfer). If your purchase was paid for with a gift certificate you will be issued a store credit.

Product returns must be in “new and unused” condition, in the original packaging with all tags intact, documentation, parts and accessories included to insure a refund. “New and Unused” means saleable condition, not dirty and not washed. We cannot issue a refund for any item that has been used, installed or assembled. This includes, but is not limited to, products requiring assembly that have been assembled, and unsealed videos, DVDs and CDs. Return Procedure:

  • To keep track of your return you will need a Return Authorization Number. Please email us at info@kidsurplus.com or call toll-free 1-866-543-3325 ext. 1.
  • A return label has been provided with your packing slip. Please put your Return Authorization Number (RA#) in the space provided.
  • For your protection it is recommended that you insure your return packages. We cannot issue a refund for packages damaged or lost in transit. In these cases you must file a claim with your carrier for reimbursement.

Please note if an item was designated as Free Ground Shipping and you wish to return it you will be responsible for the actual freight charges to your destination as well as the return shipping back to our warehouse.

Return shipping costs are your responsibility unless the item is damaged or defective. Please see our policy regarding damaged or defective items.

Damaged or Defective Items:

Damaged During Shipping:

If your package was damaged during shipping we can help. Please contact our Customer Service Department as soon as possible to report any damages. We ask that you keep all merchandise and packaging in its delivered condition for inspection by the appropriate carrier. Please be sure to inspect your item(s) for concealed damage within 7 business days if you do not plan on using it immediately. We will either replace the broken parts if possible or ship out a new one at our discretion. We are unable to accept cancellations on merchandise after it arrives damaged, but we will make every effort to correct the damage.

Requests for replacement parts will be processed as quickly as possible. Please note that we unable to express ship replacement parts.

Defective Items:

If you have received a defective item please contact our Customer Service Department within 30 days of receipt of your order. We will either replace the defective parts if possible or ship out a new one at our discretion. After 30 days please contact the manufacturer directly for information on any warranty that may apply.

Breast Feeding Products:

Only Breast Feeding products that are unopened and in factory sealed condition may be returned to KidSurplus for a refund (see our return procedure above). If you have opened your merchandise, you will need to contact the manufacturer directly for assistance.

Damaged or defective Breast Feeding products must be reported to the manufacturer directly. Contact information for these manufacturers will be located on the packaging of the product or in instructional manuals. You may also use links to some of these manufacturers websites located below.

Exchanges:

The fastest way to exchange items is to place a new order and process your return separately. If you wish to exchange an item please follow the return procedure detailed above. Then, visit www.kidsurplus.com and place a new order for the replacement item(s).

Refunds and Return Time:

An e-mail notification will be sent once your package has been received and processed by our returns department. Please allow at least 14 business days for inspection and processing. All refunds will be for the purchase price of the product less shipping charges, shipping surcharges, and any coupons or promotions used. Refunds will be issued to the original credit card or other payment method used for the order (check, paypal, or wire transfer). If your purchase was paid for with a gift certificate you will be issued store credit.

Canceling or Changing Your Order:

If you have placed an order and would like to cancel or change it, please email info@kidsurplus.com or call toll-free 1-866-543-3325 ext. 1 as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate your request. Please note that our system is designed to fill orders as quickly as possible. As a result, we cannot cancel or change an order once it has entered the shipping process. If we are unable to stop your order you may return the order once you have received it by following the return procedure above.

Refusal of Delivery:

If an order is refused, the customer will be responsible for the actual shipping costs back to Kidsurplus.com. Once the order is received back in our warehouse, we will issue a refund for the purchase price less shipping charges, shipping surcharges, and any coupons or promotions used if applicable. Refunds will be issued to the original credit card or other payment method used for the order (check, PayPal, or wire transfer). If your purchase was paid for with a gift certificate you will be issued store credit.
